Mini Tag Album

Hi Guys!  Laura here today to share a mini tag album with you...

I always dress binding rings with plenty of ribbon.  This time I've used 3mm, sheer dots, flowers and hearts.

I pick my ribbons to match my colour scheme - blue, green and yellow.

Of course I cannot make anything without adding extra ribbon!  This is an off-cut of swiss dots threaded through a button

You can pop over to my blog to see more of the mini album and Crafty Ribbons to stock up on ribbons and buttons.

Thanks for stopping by,
Laura

Thinking of You!

Hello all, I have brought a Thinking of You card to show you today for my inspiration project :)

I used two different ribbons for this project.  The flower is made using 16mm Ivory Grosgrain Ribbon that I dyed to match the distress ink on the paper.  The back flower and lace across the front of the card is is made with Etienne Cotton Lace in Honey.  I also used the Handmade tag ribbon, which I absolutely love and will be using on all of my future projects :)

If you would like to see more details on how I made this project you can visit my blog at odetopaper.blogspot.ca.

You can find all kinds of fabulous lace, ribbon and buttons on the Crafty Ribbons website, and don't forget about our fort-nightly challenges over on the challenge blog!

Bit of Lacey inspiration

Hello everyone, Kelly here to share a bit of Lacey inspiration with you.. :-)

I love adding ribbon and lace to my cards, it gives that bit of texture and finishes off lovely.
However I thought I would try and attach it a little different to how I normally do.. So for this card I added extra sticky double sided tape to the back of my image and attached the lace as like a border.. Really pleased how it turned out.. Think I will be doing it again ;-)

Would love to know what you all think.?

You can find this lace in various colours HERE

Vintage Vase

Good morning to you, Kate here. to share a little inspiration

I have a thing about lace and up until now have not found a lace that perfectly wraps around items including card, well this has all changed since the new lace arrived, wow it is so silky and thin and manipulates around everything with ease.

So I made a vase and needed a little vintage feel and this lace was the perfect addition

It is the

and it comes in a variety of colours and is so delicate

I cannot wait to play with it again and create something else

happy crafting

Recorder Case

Hi Guys, Laura here today!

I'm sharing a photo collage of a recorder case I made with a thin strip of scrap fabric and the music ribbon range from Crafty Ribbons.

I even tucked in a little handmade tab which you can find here.

When I was a child I loved having a recorder case that was different to all the other recorder cases.  This music ribbon would have been my favourite thing back then!

Leah's Inspiration Post and a Headband!

Hi everyone!  I have a handmade headband to show you today for inspiration!  Not only do I love paper, but I also love ribbon!  I have been watching Youtube videos every chance I get to learn more ways to play with ribbon, and here is what I came up with today:

Kanzashi Ribbon Flower by Leah Tees

I used 25 mm satin ribbon (blue) and 40 mm velvet ribbon (beige) to make the two-layered flower, then added it to a wrapped plastic headband.  I just love these flowers, they are so much fun to make, and they look so pretty!  If you would like to see more pictures and details on this project, please visit my blog here.

If you would like to purchase similar ribbon, or to peruse the many beautiful ribbons in stock at Crafty Ribbons, you can visit their online store here.  Don't forget to enter the bi-weekly challenges over on the Crafty Ribbons Challenge Blog for a chance to win some fabulous...ribbon, of course!

Sweet Music

Hi Guys,

It's Laura here today to share with you this little project...

It is a small ear phones case - stops the wires doing that really annoying impossible to undo knotting thing that it loves to do all the time!

The front is simple black poly cotton lined with felt.  Instead of using a triangle of fabric for the back of the case I lined up some ribbon and zigzag stitched it to a piece of felt.  A different music ribbon for the hook and a keyring loop finish it off nicely.

What do you think?  I'd love to hear!

Laura
