Gingerbread Bunting

Do you remember my Gingerbread Bunting I made back in the summer?

Well, it is now a kit😃

Linen fabric, satin gingerbread ribbon tags, grosgrain advent numbers and bias binding is all included, as well as the instructions.
I used a sewing machine to make the bunting, but you could hand sew it if you wished.

The p
ockets are large enough for a small treat, chocolate coins or as I keep telling Tony a diamond ring or two !
Find the new kit here

Enjoy your day

Christmas Ornament

Sarah here today with a festive ornament using the Unicorn Christmas ribbon.

To create this mixed media star bauble I started out with some gesso to prep the ornament blank. I added layers of texture and crackle paste to add some interest and layers of cheesecloth and tulle.

Then I added mini pine cones, moulded clay shapes and a snowflake again coated in gesso. With some paints and spray in blues and greens I added a touch of colour diluted down with water from a spray bottle.

Once dry I added flowers in pinks and blue to match my ribbon and then coated the ornament in white paint, snowflake and unicorn pastes by Prima to add a frosty effect.

Finally I added my ribbon followed by some pink seam binding in a bow at the top.
You can check out the process in detail in the video linked here.

Thanks for joining me and have a Happy Crafty Day :)

2 more Unicorn Birthday Cards

Hi Everyone
Wendy L, Spanish Crafter here to show you another couple of Unicorn Cards, showcasing our new Unicorn Grosgrain ribbons available HERE
These are very similar to the two cards I showed the other day.

Both similar design using the Advent ribbon, cut and made into pockets to hold a little card or maybe a voucher or money.
All matted onto Pearlised card embossed with Hearts.

I added one of our heart button in the corner of this one tied with narrow organza ribbon.

A way of using the Advent ribbon as Birthday cards.

Good morning everyone!
Margreet here with a card to share today for Crafty Ribbons.

I attached the words ribbon Christmas Unicorn - 9mm Unicorn words to ground the unicorn.
At the top I used Seam binding ribbon (Azalea pink).
Then I made a small notebook in which you can write your sweet dreams.
I used again items of the Christmas Unicorn - Advent Pockets and also the words ribbon Christmas Unicorn - 9mm Unicorn words.

Unicorns

Good Morning
Wendy L aka Spanish Crafter here to show you a couple of cards made with the gorgeous new Advent Unicorn Ribbon.
I made it into pockets for my cards.
This one I made into a Baby's  1st Christmas card using the No. 1 from the Advent Ribbon.
Similar to the first card just different colour Mirri.
I added a sweet little bell charm to the narrow ribbon.

This one I covered the number with a crinkled poinsettia and slipped a little card in the pocket.
The note has the ribbon with the word Love on.
I added a band of the narrow ribbon across the bottom.
All matted onto a mirri circle and embossed snowflake card.

Watch out for more wonderful creatins by the Design Team this week

Unicorns and negatives

Just want to show you another way of using your
negatives after die cutting and ribbons. If ribbons
are wide, like some of these new unicorn ribbons,

These were made for advent but can also easily be
used for any other occasion where you need a
number. And why not decorate with a bow, also
with unicorns!

Materials:

Papper: Lawn Fawn "Hello Sunshine"

Wide unicorn ribbon:
Narron unicorn ribbon:

Unicorn calendar kit

It's time to begin your christmas stuff!
Today, I'm playing with the new unicorn ribbons collection.
The calendar kit ribbon is perfect for this.

I used all sheets to make the pouches and swiss dot ribbons matching the colors to close them.
A good way to reuse and make zero waste too.

Isn't she beautiful with her closed eyes...
Are you fond of unicorns?

Unicorn Birthday !!

Morning all,
Hope you are all enjoying our Unicorn week, we would love to hear what you think about the new collection ?

Please don't think the Unicorn ribbons are just for Chritmas, here's a birthday card I'v made....

Don't you think any little one would love to be given this on their Birthday !!

Card made for Unicron Week

Good Afternoon!
Today I am sharing my card I made for Unicorn week for Crafty Ribbons. These Unicorn ribbons are so lovely.

I just love the shiney gold wording and the beautiful images on the calendar ribbon

Thanks for looking,

Sarah x

It's a magical kind of day

Ohhh such fun playing with the brand new Ribbons from Crafty Ribbons

This week the DT are sharing our Unicorn makes
There were so many ohhh's and arrrr's when these dropped through the letter box
Sooooo What did I make , well the ribbons were just oh so delish there had to be more than one make.
My first share with you with this utterly sweet Unicorn Box
I cut it on my portrait and used some lush glittery card stock
The beautiful Gold Ribbon is

as soon as I started putting all together I thought how ideal these would be for a little girls Birthday to pop cake and a few treats in . My mind was racing you could even personalise them. So I made a little envelope printed some tiny unicon tags and popped the envelope on the back of the box.
I added some little pearls to her eyes and flowers

I used a couple of small strips of 3mm Satin Ribbon for my tags

For my second make I decided to stay with the party theme and made a card with a matching tag. I used the same image as I did for the mini tags. Its pre - coloured from Pink Gem

How beautiful is that ribbon!!
You can find it here
and the thinner one here

Have a truly magical day
