Hi, 

I just love this fabulous lace. Vulcan Viscose Lace - Grey.

I think it has really enhanced this image,

which is a very old stamp, I coloured with Distress Inks.

It also comes in some pretty colours too.

Sweet Treats

New challenge today with "Sweet Treats" and ribbon on Crafty Ribbons Challenge.

This collection is just perfect. We all need a piece of chocolate! My husband and I have always three at night... A good habit, isn't ?

I am using keep calm dark ribbon,  chocolate ribbon,  and chocolate bar ribbon.

A chocolate a day, takes darkness away...

Hi Chaps, Laura here today.  I've been on the Crafty Ribbons design team for years now, and I thought I knew the stock ribbons inside out.  I was nosing around on the website and I came across these cute mini heart ribbons.

I had no idea they existed!  Even if you are a regular Crafty Ribbons customer it's always worth having a bit of browse through the categories - who knows what you will find!  So I have learnt my lesson, and I hope you can cash in on my new wisdom too!

I put my new-to-me ribbons to use straight away on this water-coloured card...

I have used seam binding in citrine and heart ribbon in blue mist.

Making a start on Christmas!

Have you seen over the last few days Crafty Ribbons have released two new ranges of Christmas ribbons?

 There is an elegant Christmas Rose.

And a fun Santa's Grotto range.

This range has some metallic gold message ribbons and I have used them in this quick card...

I made some slits in the card and threaded through my ribbon - very simple!

I think when the ribbon is this special you don't need to do an awful lot!  Be sure to have a look at all the new ribbons!

Art Journal Page with Ribbon

Hi there, Laura here.  Today I am sharing a little art journal page.  I love to use up my ribbon scraps in my art journal...

Other ingredients include gelatos, texture paste, a heart stencil, acrylic ink, and some felt clouds...

I wrote some lyrics from a song that summed up what I was feeling and thinking.  The song is Somewhere Someday by NSync.

So this goes to show even teeny tiny pieces of ribbon can still be used!  If you like what you see here I have used;  Volcan Lace, Cotton ribbon, 3mm grosgrain, and both sides of Carry On Baking ribbon.
