Nativity Card with Gold Stars

Good Afternoon to You All!

Today I am sharing a card I made using the Nativity Ribbons - 25mm Nativity Story and 9mm Nativity Words from the Christmas Nativity Ribbon catagory.

I kept this card simple by using gold mirri for the background, then a blue scrap card which I punched out the star borders using the Fiskars Interchangeable Border punch with the star cartridge. I added the ribbon, cutting the wording ribbon into a banner and scattering the punched gold stars to finish.

Christmas Shaker Ornament Layout

The Christmas crafty supplies are out and I'm looking forward to doing lots of festive scrapbooking.
Today's layout features the cute Gingerbread House collection by Crafty Ribbons.

I started by creating a shaker ornament using my Silhouette and made up a sequin mix with red white and green sequins as well as tiny candy canes I made from fimo.
To top my ornament I made a no sew bow and added the vertical ribbon for the ornament to hang from, so it didn't look like it was just floating there.
I layered matching papers behind my photo and popped it up on foam to make it sit flat against the ornament.
My Title was from the Crate Paper FaLaLa collection as well as the chipboard candy canes.
I added a cute ginger bread man and some other enamel shapes as a finishing touch, along with my trusty Gold Color Shine spray.
You can check out the process video here. https://youtu.be/izo3v3j5Gik
Don't forget to have a look at the new Christmas ribbons in the shop and take a peek at the inspiration blog to see how the other girls have used them.

Have a Scrappy Day!

Christmas Nisse Lavender sachet gifts

Hey everyone, Elaine here. As Christmas gallops towards us all I have been trying to create some simple gifts to *try* to have presents to hand by the time it gets here! I love making these lavender sachets because they are so easy but smell divine and always make well received gifts! I used Nisse ribbons, a fat quarter, lavender, rice and felt so its relatively inexpensive supplies wise too :)

Nativity

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, in every shop you see.  Laura here, it's still too early for me, I'd prefer a ban until November!  But hey, that's not how it works...

Crafty Ribbons have three new Christmas ranges for this year, Nativity being the first release.

I wrapped and pinned some ribbon around the bottom of a handpainted candle, wrapped it with printed celophane and tied with the Nativity words ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by!

p.s. I hope you sung the first line of this blog post!!

Advent Gift Box

Hi Folks, Laura here today.

I made this cute Christmas gift box using ribbon from the Advent range.

I added a tag and lid topper cut on my Silhouette Cameo to match the featured star design.  Really simple - i.e. wrapping double sided tape around a premade box and sticking ribbon on.  It's a great way to recycle boxes as the ribbon covers up and design or branding.

Thanks for stopping by.

A witch hat

For a time, I am almost ready for Halloween!
I made this funny hat.

It is quite small but could be pretty just put on one head 's side with a hat pin.

I choose Witches washing ribbon to embellish the black felt. Witches are often crazy no?

And of course a ladybug to protect my special hat!

And you are ready? Let me know...

Little houses

Morning guys !!

Time is marching on and we all need to be thinking about Christmas !!  Mind you I usually start end of November.....anyhoo as you know I adore the Nisse collection and one of the ribbons has these cute little houses on so I made a Family and Friends christmas card.

I've just used a light bulb stamp I found in my stash between the houses adding some glossy accents and some glitter stickles to the roofs of the houses to add a bit of sparkle.

You can find all the Nisse collection HERE

Harry Potter bookmark

Harry Potter bookmark

Hi there!!
It's Sara here and I have a new project for you.
I thought it will be fun to create a multi-purpose project: Halloween is around the corner (this is a perfect non-candy gift for children), but we have to think to Christmas gifts, and this could be a small gift for your friends.
So now you have to decide what you want to do this project for..

When I bought this stamp set I didn't have the idea, but when I see this cotton ribbon I thought it would be perfect to stamp on (did you ever try to stamp on cotton ribbons?).

You can use classic ink or fabric one, try the beauty of stamped ribbons, I'm so in love with the effect!!

I've just added a finish touch with this script ribbon and this black rope, and that's it! It is so simple..

For more fun play with buttons, and you can have a perfect gift with just few things. The one I used is one of this gorgeous star selection.

Hope you like it!
Happy crafty day!

Planner Dashboards, Tassel and Clips

Happy Friday Crafters!

Sarah here with some Planner Decor goodness.

I've recently fallen back in love with Planner Decorating since getting my shiny new Prima planner. I wanted to do something a little different for my dashboards so this is what I came up with.

I used some seam binding ribbon to create the weaved images and added a few extra details with sequins diecuts and watercolours.

To make my planner tassel, I gathered all my most "Halloweeny" ribbons and added a cute bow and charm for a finishing touch. I also used smaller cut offs to make cute matching planner clips.

Tulip Fields Hair Bow

Hey everyone, I hope you are well. I am here with a hair ribbon I made with some of my favourite ribbons ever, Tulip fields and Lots a Dots ribbon!
To avoid the bulk of tying the bows I folded them and glued them, that way it really showcases the lovely print of the ribbon in all its glory :)
