Christmas gift Bags

Good Morning All

It is my turn to post for Crafty Ribbons Design Team.
I had bought these paper gift bags when I was back in the UK earlier this year as I thought they would be good for decorating.
They are made from plain brown paper so I stamped some and sprayed some.

To decorate, I recycled some Christmas cards.
And, of course, used the gorgeous Gros grain printed ribbon from Crafty Ribbons HERE
These have such pretty designs on them, just gorgeous.

A great selection and a great way of recycling last years cards.

You will always find a great selection of printed ribbon to suit any occasion.

I love crocket

It is my turn to post for Crafty Ribbons Design Team.
I made some labels and I used the I love Crocket ribbon. At the top I used some red Loopy Cord and tied it up with a piece of  scrapper's floss.
My mother of 91 years old has crocket the flowers. The buttons are from Basics 2 Go Buttons (Hearts Pastel).

My mother has crocket this jacket for me. She gives away most of her creations and now she can add the labels to her present.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great Monday!

For a maths lover or not!

I don't know if it is the same in english speaking countries but in France, you love Maths or hate it! Some are afraid of...

I made a special  pouch to finish with that! cms or inches, you can put all your rulers in and other maths things in it.

Did you Crafty Ribbons have tape measure ribbons in cm and inch in their collection?

Just matched with this fabric!  I added a Flower button to close with a gingham 5mm ribbon.

And a handmade ribbon label  just because we need to be proud of what we made!
I like my Maths pouch and you?

Have a perfect day,

Halloween Scrapbook Page using Halloween Ribbon

Good Morning Everyone!

Today I am sharing a Halloween themed scrapbook page I have made with photos of my daughter's 1st Halloween. I have used the super cute Halloween Ribbon by Crafty Ribbons. There are many more Halloween Ribbons that can be found in the shop.

The papers and stickers are from the Boos and Brews collection by Doodlebug Design Inc and the Halloween ephemera / die cut shapes are from a collection called Bootiful Nights by American Crafts all from Thompson Craft Supplies.

I love how the die cuts have space to hand write memories and information.

The ribbon compliments the page nicely and adds some cute texture.

Thanks for looking,

Snowman Hoop

Morning ribbon fans,
Ali here today to share one of my little ideas.

As you all know I love playing with ribbon!
Here is my take on a hooped Christmas dec

The snowman is ribbon that I have cut around and hand sewn onto the fabric with black thread.
The trees are made from 40mm gingham ribbon, also hand sewn.
All held together in a 4" wooden embroidery hoop.
Fun to design, fun to make and fun to see it hanging up.

Have a great weekend.

Mindfull sewing

Morning guys !!

Diane here with a cute little bit of mindfull sewing

I have started a much bigger piece and had a few scraps of material left so decided to make this card with the leftover bits. Its like a log cabin block and you then add and add what you like on top.

Its a great way to use you your small pieces of lace and silk ribbons. On mine I have used some of the lace ribbons found HERE , embroidered french knots and stitching using some of the silk ribbons found HERE , and the "I love sewing" tape found HERE

Its very hard to stop adding, but embroidered some daisies, added beads, a charm and some lovely vintage buttons found in my mums old button tin !!
Just have fun with it !!

hugs Diane xx
