A Sad Farewell

It is with a sad heart that I post here for the last time, as I had to re adjust my life, and on this occasion step down from the Design Team, I have loved working with all of the gorgeous products and will continue to be using them moving forward.

Have a yummy Christmas

Marianne here to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. I am sharing a scrapbook page of my hubby on Christmas Jumper Day a week ago. He is enjoying a skinny latte and mince pie and I used the very appropriate Christmas cupcake yummy turquoise ribbon. For more details hop over to my blog.

Hello!  Laura here.  Merry Christmas to one and all!

This is a cheap glass clip frame from the pound shop.  I've added some lace around the edge with red backed super sticky tape.

I created a template on my Silhouette software to cut a grid of squares to match the size of the patterns on the Christmas Charm Snowflakes ribbon.  I stuck them to the back with more red backed super sticky tape - I love the stuff, it sticks everything!

Then to finish off I used some gold Stickles glitter glue to script Merry Christmas directly on to the glass.  It looks really impressive and you don't have to tell anyone that you lay the glass over some printed script and just traced it!!

I like to receive and send Christmas postcards all over the world so I made this special hanging.

I used new ribbons from Christmas charm collection, hanging baubles, snowflakes, and stamps.

These are all you need to make. I put a DIY on my blog if you want to have yours!

Festive Nest

I've scrapped some photos from a few years back of my budgie playing with a new delivery of Crafty Ribbons stock...

 I've used some 3mm grosgrain on a label...

And some of the ribbon that Billy was playing with - from the Vintage Christmas ribbon range.  Although the range is a few years old now it is still available along with all the previous years' exclusive ranges.

A christmas bauble card

When I saw this new bauble ribbon , I remember a bauble stamp I have so I mixed them together.

I used my pro makers to color bauble Christmas stamp and some dies to cut papers.

And these beautiful ribbons: Christmas charm ribbon and Joy, Love, Peace ribbon.

Card Holder

Hi Folks, it's Laura here today.

It's beginning to look a little like Christmas... and you might start receiving cards in the post.  I like to peg mine to my ribbon card holder.

To make this I have used hanging baubles from Crafty Ribbons feature range Christmas Charm.  I've added a few bells, some 3mm grosgrain and some mini pegs.

It will be hung on my door ready for cards, and every time someone walks past quickly and creates a little breeze, or brushes their arm against it is they walk past, I'll hear a little jingle - it'll make me smile every time!!

A soft mini blanket for Christmas

I made this soft mini blanket for all children who love to carry one everywhere. So this is one is special for Christmas time.

I put a handle with a wave ric rac

and a lot of ribbons, penguin ribbon, all my love ribbon, vintage happy Christmas, mini heart ribbon, mini check ribbon and mini satin ribbon.

Hi Guys, Laura here today.  I can't make a mini album without including ribbon!  This time I have used Swiss Dots and Grosgrain 3mm in colours to match the 'Wish List' kit from like for ever.

I have made the mini album to celebrate a friends wedding, but the photos were not brilliant quality.  This gave me the idea to go small, which reminded me I had a little tin saved to upcycle...

I made a concertina strip to fit the little tin.  I adhered a piece of ribbon to the bottom edge of the tin to use as a tab - a little pull and the album pops out of the tin.

Then to finish it all off nicely I tied the tin with 3mm ribbon and added a handmade charm.  The charm includes glass beads hand made by the bride for that extra personal touch.

I created this card using the Retro Christmas - Be Merry 16mm Grosgrain Ribbon as the closure :)  Such a fun card to make, and this ribbon can be used for almost anything!  It is such great quality :)

Christmas socks

I made some Christmas socks using colors of Christmas bus ribbon.

They seem to have a good trip in the bus!

So my socks are on the way too.
