Minions

Good morning everyone!
Margreet here with a card to share today.
It's a birthday card for a man who will be 40 year old soon and who is still crazy about Minions. Crafty ribbons has some pretty Minion ribbons.
At the top and bottom of the card you can see the funny Minion Water Ribbon.
I found a Minion image on internet, printed it 3 times, coloured and fussy cut them. I gave them all a wobbly eye. The papers used are from the Denim Saturdays series of Studio Light. The numbers are made with Quickutz dies.
Have a great Sunday!

Hi, Margreet here.
I created a card with the sweet digital stamp Ha-bee Birthday! from Gerda Steiner Designs
I started with coloring the bee with copics and put some Stickles on its wings. Then I die cut with an oval die from Nestabilities. I edged with blue Memento ink.
I took some bees papers from my stash and mounted it on yellow cardstock.
Finished with the lovely Gnome Ribbon - Bees from Crafty Ribbons.
In 2 corners I attached a small bee (button) and some sequins.
Hope you like  my card.
Tomorrow I'll be back with another one.
Hope you will return to see it.

Frozen Themed Scrapbook Page using Frozen Sisters Ribbon

Good Morning Everyone!

Today I am sharing a scrapbook page I have made using the Frozen Ribbon - Sisters from Crafty Ribbons - as my Daughter is dressed as Anna from Frozen. The layout is based on elements from the photos.
My post can be found here

For this card I used a butterfly stamp by Stampin' Up with Distress Oxides and the rainbow die cut is by Lawn Fawn. The background paper is official Frozen paper for scrapbooking.

I used a Lou Collins brush nib pen for my title name - done in free hand brush lettering and stamped the rest of the lettering for a contrast.

I added journaling notes to the second butterfly.

Thanks for looking,

Feathers with Silk Ribbon

Morning everyone.
Ali here today to share my WIP.

When finished my owl will be 19cm high, the largest embroidery piece I have created for a loooong time.

First, I selected the colours I wanted to play with from our 4mm silk ribbons here.
I am using the same style of embroidery as our Robin kit (here)

and Blue Tit (here).

Silk ribbon creates wonderful feathers!

Have fun

Decorated fine chocolate bars

I went to the Lindt sample sale knowing I would never eat
all I bought by myself but had the idea of decorating a few
and give away. So off I went and here are the first ones:

Ribbon above: Sheer puff dots in pink
and also this: Bling in pink.

Loving the Bling ribbon above and also the
sentiment ribbon in white.

This last ribbon is discontinued, I'm sorry for that.
But I used this last piece I had for a fancy knot.
So come on, let your fantasy lead you to make
some personalized chocolate cards!!

Craft Inspector | Scrapbook Layout

Sarah here today with a scrapbook layout featuring the Colour your Days Pencil Ribbon.

I had a cute picture of my kitten exploring one of my boxes of craft supplies and thought the ribbon would work so well for it.

I used some rainbow patterned paper for my background to match my ribbon and added a little dimension with texture paste and blue paint.

For my paper cluster I added layers of tissue, patterned paper and stickers. I twisted together some aqua and pink Ric Rac and stapled it amongst the layers for extra texture and interest.

I added some turquoise gems and white splashes of paint around the edge of my layout and tucked some pencil ribbon behind the top of the photo cluster.

Finally I added some extra ribbon below my title to balance with the piece above the photo.

Thanks for joining me and have a happy crafty day!!
