Wild Thing | Scrapbook Layout

Sarah here today with a scrapbook layout.

For my background I used a selection of seam binding ribbon over a watercolour background to create a rainbow. I cut out the rainbow and mounted it on black card stock to make the colours pop.

I trimmed down a sticker into word blocks to create my title around the rainbow. The pencil ribbon worked perfectly with the layout so I added it to a tag behind the photo.

The lovely Bramble Fox flair and acrylic piece added a perfect finishing touch, along with some splashes of white paint.

You can check out the process video here.

Have a Happy Scrappy Day!!

Seam Binding comes in so many colours there is always one to match your project.
And I love the many colours and widths of Satin Ribbon available to make bows in all sizes, ready to adorn my creations.

Then I decided to add afew butterflies to them, just because I can !!!!

Hi, Margreet here.
I was asked to make a vintage card for a lady who will be 80 years soon.
I decided to make a ticket card.
The beautiful elastic lace.
Here the open ticket with at the left the numbers 80 (Quickutz) and a banner with a HB stamp. All borders are distressed with distress ink Vintage Photo.
A close-up of the bow at the front. Made with 2 colors seam binding ribbon (baby pink and lotus pink) and tied up with white sheer ribbon. In the middle a pretty brad.

Ribbon Threaded Circle Card

Good Morning Everyone!

Today I am sharing a simple Design Team card I made using the pretty Seam Binding Ribbon in Tea Rose and 3mm Satin Ribbon in Hyacinth and my Ribbon Threader Die for Crafty Ribbons.

The Ribbon Threader Die is by John Next Door and I just had a play with weaving and twisting the ribbon until I was happy with the look.

I added the purple ribbon in for extra colour and to tie in with the background paper (Trimcraft). For the bow I tied two triple bows and added in a Basics 2 Go Heart Button for the centre.

Thanks for looking,

Unicorn hoop

Unicorn Embroidery Hoop

Hi everyone its Louise here on the blog today. I have a really fun and easy project for you today.

This is my unicorn rainbow hoop. It would make a wonderful gift or decorative item in a childrens room. The center of the hoop can also be filled like a dream catcher or with paper/fabric and further embellishments if desired.

The hoop was wrapped with coloured string and ribbons and lace tied at the bottom.

At the top, the unicorn horn and ears were attached with flowers glued over the top.

Here are some close ups and there is a link below to the video so you can watch how it is made

You Tube link: https://youtu.be/QriFw1EaWvo

This is sadly my last project with Crafty Ribbons. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time and would like to thank the rest of the team for your kindness, hardwork and inspiration. Keep on doing a great job and I'll be following the team :)
