Gift Wrapping with a Sparkly Twist!
Hi there, Laura here again.
I love wrapping presents more than I love unwrapping them. I had this crazy idea to make a sequin shaker pocket window in some wrapping. I measured out my paper and picked a spot that would give a tantalising glimpse but not give anything away... I moved over to my craft desk and carefully cut the dinosaur out with a craft knife.
I recycled a piece of craft packaging filling it with a spoonful of star sequins and sealing the opening with double-sided tape. I ran some glue around the edge of the cut out dinosaur on the inside on the paper and attached the pocket of sequins.
Then I wrapped the present and finished it off with two contrasting ribbons. You can find the range of satin ribbons here and the birthday ribbons here.
Thanks for looking!

Advent Gift Box
Hi Folks, Laura here today.
I made this cute Christmas gift box using ribbon from the Advent range.
I added a tag and lid topper cut on my Silhouette Cameo to match the featured star design. Really simple - i.e. wrapping double sided tape around a premade box and sticking ribbon on. It's a great way to recycle boxes as the ribbon covers up and design or branding.
Thanks for stopping by.

Don't waste your ends!
Hi there. Laura here today.
Does anyone else get their lengths wrong when wrapping a present and end up trimming 3 or 4 inches off the ends of ribbon instead of the preferred half an inch? I do ALL THE TIME!!
But I hate waste so I usually add them to a tag. This way you get no waste and a pretty accessory for your beautifully wrapped parcel! Here I've used 15mm Micro Dots in Shocking Pink as it was the perfect match to my paper.

Gift Bag
Hi Guys, Laura here today with a Christmas Gift Bag.
I took a plain white bag and gave it a good spritz with gold spray ink. I concentrated more colour at the top of the bag and let it fade out towards the bottom. You can pick up blank paper bags at most craft stores, or recycle ones you have been given.
I've taken two ribbons from the Santa's Grotto range and painted the backs with matte medium. When this is dry it allows you to fussy cut the ribbon without fraying. I matted the large motif on to some gold mirror card, and layered it up over a couple of pieces of lace.
I then added two of the tag motifs to the base of the handle. Perfect for giving a gift this Christmas, not terribly time consuming, and even something you can get the kids to join in with... go on, do some Christmas crafting!!
Ingredients:
Tag Ribbon
Badge Ribbon
2mm silk ribbon
Volcan Lace
Clermont Lace
