Love, laugh, live

Love, laugh and laugh is always a good credo and this is mine! I could add smile too...

This is a wonderful kit made with patchwork rose ribbon, (exist in blue)

and lace. There is chantilly one.

Add some heart buttons and this the perfect match!

More you can, enjoy your life. Big hugs.

Happy Birthday

Hi, Margreet here.
I was asked to make a vintage card for a lady who will be 80 years soon.
I decided to make a ticket card.
The beautiful elastic lace.
Here the open ticket with at the left the numbers 80 (Quickutz) and a banner with a HB stamp. All borders are distressed with distress ink Vintage Photo.
A close-up of the bow at the front. Made with 2 colors seam binding ribbon (baby pink and lotus pink) and tied up with white sheer ribbon. In the middle a pretty brad.

Frida skull

Hi everyone!
Somedays over the rainbow...
No, my mind is upside down! It is the worst moment of the year with so many things to do in all directions but also creative too.

With some french creative friends, we made a team for a special challenge and since a month we create a lot of DIY. We chose "Rendez-vous in latin America" theme.
How to mix challenge, rota, partnership...? My head is full and I remember this skull from Eye Connected Crafts!

I laced some gingham ribbons together for teeth,

Add some paper flowers,

And some doodles.

If we have a look to Coco, maybe Frida could be like this!

If we want to have a look to my team's DIY, you are welcome to like them until 24th june. Cross your fingers for me. We 'll hope to win something...

skating like these cuties:

exclusive to us? Find them HERE. And then in the
upper left corner I made a flower arrangement with
a matching lace. Find your favourite lace HERE.

Scrapping with ribbon...

Hi folks, Laura here today.  Since I made this layout I have had half a stamped and painted image sat on my desk.  As you know, I don't like to throw anything away, so I designed this layout around it!

My only other criteria was 'use lots of ribbon!' and I managed to sneak some lace and sequins in too - life is hard!!

You an get your hands on the ribbons here: hearts and dots and you can find the teal ribbon and lilac lace on the Crafty Ribbons show stand - yes it is nearly show time again.

Thanks for looking!

Scrapping with Ric Rac

Hi there, Laura here today to share a layout...

I've incorporated two sizes and colours of ric rac, some of my beloved 3mm satin ribbon (I use it on most projects!) and also some lace.

You can find the ric rac here.  I've used candy pink and cerise.  The satin is Jade and the pretty thin lace is Chloe.

A cosy nest for wubby

Some up cycling today! With cherry tomatoes box, I made this special nest for little wubbies I knit and crochet sometimes ago.

I used baby blue dots ribbon, satin ribbon, and a bygone collection.

A swiss dot ribbon, a grosgrain ribbon, a Morlaix cotton lace. Do you that you could put a colour's name in search motor on website? It is a good way to find what you would like. (also good with any name!)

I have a giveaway on my blog if you want to be in. Just let a comment on my blog HERE. (voucher, crochet and illustration I made)
Hoping you like these littles nests. Which one do you prefer?

Have a lovely day,

PS: you could follow me on Facebook  HERE and Instagram THERE  ;)

Fairy Jar

Hello, Laura here today.  I have something a little out of the ordinary to share with you today...

It's a ribbon fairy in a jar of mushrooms!  Bear with me here...  ;)

The first thing I thought of when I saw the Spring Ribbon Mushrooms was fairies.  I decided to try and make a miniature fairy to live among the mushrooms.

I've used a couple of beads for her head and body, 2mm silk ribbon for her arms and legs, seam binding and silk ribbon for her skirt and lace for her wings.

I also made a couple of mushrooms from Swiss Dot grosgrain and wire stems.  I suspended the fairy on a thread so it looks like she is flying.

Totally bonkers but so much fun!
