Some freshness!

It is so hot this moment! With canicula, I would like some freshness and orange is just perfect. I made a card like an alphabet with ribbon. Do you try some? Some brusho vermilion as background and I collect my beautiful orange ribbons.

Horizontally, I just added a mini check ribbon paper flowers and an orange button,

some hand lettering,

an arrow with fiskars punch (thick) to point what is important...

And now it's time to make a fresh orange juice and enjoy.

For a maths lover or not!

I don't know if it is the same in english speaking countries but in France, you love Maths or hate it! Some are afraid of...

I made a special  pouch to finish with that! cms or inches, you can put all your rulers in and other maths things in it.

Did you Crafty Ribbons have tape measure ribbons in cm and inch in their collection?

Just matched with this fabric!  I added a Flower button to close with a gingham 5mm ribbon.

And a handmade ribbon label  just because we need to be proud of what we made!
I like my Maths pouch and you?

Have a perfect day,

Frida skull

Hi everyone!
Somedays over the rainbow...
No, my mind is upside down! It is the worst moment of the year with so many things to do in all directions but also creative too.

With some french creative friends, we made a team for a special challenge and since a month we create a lot of DIY. We chose "Rendez-vous in latin America" theme.
How to mix challenge, rota, partnership...? My head is full and I remember this skull from Eye Connected Crafts!

I laced some gingham ribbons together for teeth,

Add some paper flowers,

And some doodles.

If we have a look to Coco, maybe Frida could be like this!

If we want to have a look to my team's DIY, you are welcome to like them until 24th june. Cross your fingers for me. We 'll hope to win something...

Thanks to our Olympic athletes!

I don't know for you but I am very fond of Olympic games! Every four years, I am in front a tv wherever I am in the world. I organise my days on Olympic hours and sleep when I can!

I would like to thank all women and men who take part in this wonderful adventure. All continents joined for great times. They make me dream of a better world.

Congratulations to all with a medal or not. They can't be competitions without any of you.

I used 5mm gingham ribbon (so much colors!) for medals and 40mm gros grain ribbon under thank you word. This snowflake ribbon is from an old season but there are many others to choose.
Do you think, they could see this congratulations card in Pyeongchang ?
All my love to this great champions.
You give us so much emotions.
THANK YOU

Gingham Wedding with Leah Tees

It's inspiration time for me again, and yes, once again, I have a watercolor background for you ;)  I have used the background to match the gingham ribbon, to make a wedding card.

I also used some wide sheer striped ribbon to create a Kanzashi style flower in white.  If you would like see more information about this card, please visit my blog here.

This is my favorite card this month, I just love the classic aqua and white together.

Have you joined in with the challenges yet?  You really should!  You can find them here :)  And don't forget to stop by the ribbon emporium for all your ribbon, lace and button needs :)

A red pouch

A friend of mine likes red, so I made for her birthday a special pouch. A face with hearts fabric and ric-rac,

the other with a red polka dot pocket finished by bias binding gingham and a little bow. It looks like an apron!

A mini check gingham ribbon closed by red pearls to use zipper. And that all.
 Hoping she will like it...
Have a nice day,

and I glued some Flower brights buttons on in different sizes.
Now, I could sing :"I 'm so pretty..."
