Hello Autumn | Scrapbook Layout

Sarah here with an autumnal layout using the Tri Colour and Polka Dot Sheer ribbons.

I took inspiration for my layout from one of my paper layers and created a mixed media background with splashes of colour over texture paste.

To make the most of my ribbon I added it across the bottom of my layout, as well as creating two little clips to embellish my photo.

I added a few Doodlebug Enamel shapes, a title across the bottom and some sweet stickers by Mrs Brimbles to add a finishing touch.

You can check out the process video here.

Thanks for joining me and have a Happy Crafty Day :)

Washi tape and Crafty Ribbons

Hi! I'd like you to show how you can combine
washitape and ribbons and make cute cards
good to-go for any ocasion. On this first card I
used the left-over piece after a die cut and
placed on top of a yellow piece of cardstock where
I had put layers of matching washitape. Goes
well with dotted ribbons

Next card is smaller but I use the same tecnique
taking advantage of the left-over when cutting a
die. Only here I combines a ribbon from the animal
cuties ribbons with the washi tape in the middle and
then decorated with a fuchsia and white saddle

This last card has only washi tape in the body
and ribbon only for decoration together with
some flowers and a heart needle.

Thanks for visiting and welcome back!

A poppy brooch

I think poppies are my favourite flowers. They are so beautiful in a field. I began to see some this week-end in south of France so maybe they influenced myself!

I made a brooch with hexies patchwork , spring ribbon poppies, a spotty large button, and a 3mm satin ribbon
I miss a vintage dress to hang it on!

Don't forget to put your creation with ribbon on our Facebook page to win...

Hoping you have a lovely time,

A Crafty Ribbons rag doll!

I would like to make a special doll with ribbons since a moment. It needs some time to have an idea and then turns it in real. It is almost as I want to. I used a lot of different sort of orange and yellow ribbons for hair. And flower buttons for eyes.

Here is she, on a patchwork I made some time ago.

I used a poppy field ribbon as kimono belt. It will be soon on the website. Isn't it beautiful?
She needs a name just now. An idea?

Enjoy your sunday,

I used the 15mm Micro dot ribbon (white) for the bow. This and more fab ribbons are available at the Crafty ribbons store. So hop over there and do some shopping. :)

A red pouch

A friend of mine likes red, so I made for her birthday a special pouch. A face with hearts fabric and ric-rac,

the other with a red polka dot pocket finished by bias binding gingham and a little bow. It looks like an apron!

A mini check gingham ribbon closed by red pearls to use zipper. And that all.
 Hoping she will like it...
Have a nice day,

A bling bling purse

I weave them irregularly on a  thermo-gluing viesline (sorry about my english) .

I iron with a damp cloth and cut to a rectangle of 23x26cm.

Some machine embroidery lines later, there is my flat  bling bling purse!

With a ladybug zip! Good for Challenge this week HERE...

Good to range my bling ribbons!
