Shabby Mini Journals with Leah Tees

Hello everyone, I have some cute shabby mini journals to share with you this week for some inspiration!

These were so much fun to make and if you would like more information on how I made them, please visit my blog here :)

Aren't they gorgeous?  My favorite is the hummingbird ;)

I embellished them with some fabulous lace and ribbon from Crafty Ribbons.  I just love the ribbons and lace, the quality is superb, and the variety is amazing!  They even have some exclusive designs that you definitely will NOT find anywhere but their online shop at Crafty Ribbons.

For these mini journals I used the following ribbons and lace:
Clermont Cotton Lace in various colors,

Dream Catcher

Hi, it's Laura here today with a ribbon-y dream catcher.
This is the most enjoyable project I have made in a while!  Isn't it fun?!

 

To make one you'll need a selection of ribbons and the inside of a roll of sticky tape!

I added strings of buttons and lace to my ribbon dangles.  I added some vellum feathers to the end of some of the ribbons.

The tape roll (I uses the inside of a 3mm double sided roll) is simply wrapped in ribbon until it is covered.  Then to make the web I followed some instructions I found online.  It is quite simple when you get going, but describing it is pretty tricky!

Hello, Kate T here with some creative inspiration. Ribbon can be very versatile and great for adding a little decorative touch...here is a gift bag I made and added some ribbon for the handles and some to the bottom of the bag.

Some Male-themed Cards with Leah Tees

I have been trying focus on some male-themed cards lately, they are so much fun.  So here is what I came up with.  A set of three, yes I know, lol, always three at a time hahaha.

For all three of these projects, I used ribbons from the Vintage Butterflies Collections as well as some Satin Ribbons.  And if you would like to see more of the details, please visit my blog.

This card uses the Vintage Butterflies Script Ribbon, as well as the English Latte Ribbon.

The second card uses the Keys Creme from the Vintage Butterflies Collection, along with some 35 mm Satin Ribbon in New Turq.

And the last card uses the Keys Latte Ribbon from the Vintage Butterflies Collection, along with some 35 mm Satin Ribbon in Cypress.  All three cards also have Handmade Ribbon to complete them.

Camping in July 2015

OK, so you might notice I like these ribbons

from the range Summer Festival very much... 

I made a minialbum with one cardstock and

all around it I put the wide Camping Van ribbon: 

I live in Sweden and weather here was cloudy and

rainy during the last three weeks of July. Below you

find Camping Van ribbon to the left and the 

Caravan ribbon to the right side below.

Below right I used the Grass ribbon. 

And on the last spread there is a special

ribbon I find very suitable: Wellie ribbon.

Hi, Laura here today.  I have another layout using Crafty Ribbons gorgeous viscose lace in mint.  I'm finding it is my go to lace at the moment as it matches all of the current scrapbook collections.

It is such a great material for layering, it adds so much texture with the frills peeping out from under paper layers.
