A red pouch

A friend of mine likes red, so I made for her birthday a special pouch. A face with hearts fabric and ric-rac,

the other with a red polka dot pocket finished by bias binding gingham and a little bow. It looks like an apron!

A mini check gingham ribbon closed by red pearls to use zipper. And that all.
 Hoping she will like it...
Have a nice day,

I {heart} Butterflies

Here is a sweet little wreath I made using some 3mm ribbon and the butterfly nature ribbon.

I generously applied matte medium to the back of the butterfly ribbon and allowed it to dry.  This stiffens the ribbon and stops the edges from fraying enabling you to cut out shapes from ribbon.

I have used;
nature ribbon - butterflies
3mm satin in off white and lilac mist
3mm grosgrain

Boxed and Beautiful

Good morning to you all

It's Kate here with a little recycling inspiration, this piece originally started with an old MDF box, I do so love up-cycling

I just could not resist using those gorgeous Wedding Owl ribbons, although this was not created for a wedding so just shows you how versatile the ribbons are

Wedding Owl Ribbon - With Love Bridal White

Wedding Owl Ribbon - BELIEVE Bridal White

I gave the box a quick coat of gesso before adding some gorgeous papers, some lace and lots of pearls, a spray of flowers and of course a sentiment.  I have added some more details on my own blog along with some other photo's.

I hope this has inspired you to do some up-cycling too and use these ribbons in some different ways

Bless You!

Hi Everyone!

Have you been suffering from hay fever this summer?  Mine has been awful!  To make blowing my nose 20 times a day a bit more bearable I jazzed up a kraft tissue box...

I've used acrylic paint and butterfly ribbon.  I took the pink and lilac flowers from the background of the ribbon and carried them through in the painting.

I'm really loving using this butterfly ribbon - have you got some yet?

Mollie and I had a wonderful hour together, we sorted through the buttons.
Mollie picked the buttons she liked. I did tie the bows for her.
Mollie is only 5, it is amazing what a year at school has done for her.

I hope Mrs Waller and Mrs Brown like their prezzies.

Buttons can be found here and the Thank you ribbon is from our NEW Wedding Owl collection here.

Nautical Ribbons Beach Card

Good evening everyone, Elaine here, hope you are well! I am here with a male birthday card using our Nautical Ribbons here. I'm sure we all have photos of pretty beach scenes in our photo collection and in my aim to print and make use of the photos I take (rather than them all sitting in a computer folder being neglected!) these ribbons are absolutely perfect to embellish your beach and summer themed makes!
You can find more details on my blog here

Butterfly Notes

Hi, Laura here today to share another ribbony project!

I've used a stencil and pearlised paint to add some butterflies to a blank kraft note book.  Then to finish it off I've added a strip of the Butterfly Nature Ribbon.

This ribbon is really easy to use 'as is' and doesn't need much else to show it off.  The paint is iridescent and looks different colours from different angles.

Thanks for looking!

Butterfly Box

Good morning

It's Kate here today with my very first inspirational piece and I decided to do some up-cycling.  This box arrived with lots of crafty goodies in it originally, but I needed a box to put a gift in, so using the recent release
here is what I made.

I added those lovely die cut butterflies to match those lovely photographic butterflies on the ribbon, it is one of the most beautiful ribbons I have seen. You can find some more details on my blog.

Happy Crafting all

Magazine Sling

Hi Guys,  Laura here today to share a project with you.

I've had this calico magazine sling kicking around for so long that I can't remember where it came from!  I thought it could do with a bit of a makeover.  In my clean and simple style I simply added a strip of butterfly ribbon with super sticky tape.  It won't move accidentally, but if I fancy a change in a year or two it will peel off.

How would you use the butterfly ribbon?
