Christmas in June!

Jayne here today! Go on, hands up, who's started making their Christmas cards? I started last week and ended up doing the school run covered in glitter and double sided tape!

Today I have used this beautiful 15mm red country check ribbon (found here) to finish off this shaker card. I love a bit of red ribbon on a Christmas card!

Hope you're having a fabulous week, Jayne x

Wonderful You | Scrapbook page

Hi there, Laura here today with a scrapbook page.

I started out wanting to use my new Distress Oxide ink pad.  I pulled out a stamp and some watercolour paper and had a good play!

I liked the results so I gathered some supplies to match the background - a few papers, some stickers and sequins, bits and bobs from the June Lottie Loves Paper kit and ribbon.

Nothing made it on to the layout if it wasn't white or mint.

I sat my title on a ruffle of white organza ribbon - it adds such fab texture and height to the page.

I also added some Swiss Dot Grosgrain and a little heart tab made from the exclusive Wedding Owls ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by!

Washi tape and Crafty Ribbons

Hi! I'd like you to show how you can combine
washitape and ribbons and make cute cards
good to-go for any ocasion. On this first card I
used the left-over piece after a die cut and
placed on top of a yellow piece of cardstock where
I had put layers of matching washitape. Goes
well with dotted ribbons

Next card is smaller but I use the same tecnique
taking advantage of the left-over when cutting a
die. Only here I combines a ribbon from the animal
cuties ribbons with the washi tape in the middle and
then decorated with a fuchsia and white saddle

This last card has only washi tape in the body
and ribbon only for decoration together with
some flowers and a heart needle.

Thanks for visiting and welcome back!

This 'Happy Birthday' ribbon from the Patchwork Rose collection in fabulous hot pink finished the card perfectly. Phew! You can find the ribbon here.

Scrapping with Ric Rac

Hi there, Laura here today to share a layout...

I've incorporated two sizes and colours of ric rac, some of my beloved 3mm satin ribbon (I use it on most projects!) and also some lace.

You can find the ric rac here.  I've used candy pink and cerise.  The satin is Jade and the pretty thin lace is Chloe.
