Christmas Robin

Good morning everyone!
Margreet here with a sewing project to share today.
I ever won a challenge at Crafty Ribbons. It was so difficult to make a choice from the wide range of ribbons. So I decided to choose one of the Goodie Bags: the Christmas Decoration Robin Kit.
It is a wonderful kit with a great variety of ribbons, buttons, pre-coloured images of cupcakes, a ribbon embroidery kit and last but not least the gorgeous robin kit.
With this great kit I made this lovely felt robin and I think I will decorate my Christmas tree with it.
Here you can see 2 lovely ribbons which go with the kit.
It was a pleasure to fix it together.
Have a great day!

Frida skull

Hi everyone!
Somedays over the rainbow...
No, my mind is upside down! It is the worst moment of the year with so many things to do in all directions but also creative too.

With some french creative friends, we made a team for a special challenge and since a month we create a lot of DIY. We chose "Rendez-vous in latin America" theme.
How to mix challenge, rota, partnership...? My head is full and I remember this skull from Eye Connected Crafts!

I laced some gingham ribbons together for teeth,

Add some paper flowers,

And some doodles.

If we have a look to Coco, maybe Frida could be like this!

If we want to have a look to my team's DIY, you are welcome to like them until 24th june. Cross your fingers for me. We 'll hope to win something...

Fun Card using Ribbon to Create a Lion's Mane

Good Morning Everyone!

Today I am sharing a fun card I have made for my Design Team project for Crafty Ribbons. I have used the ribbons from the Butterfly Ribbon Pack to create the mane for my stamped lion.

The stamps are Lily the Lion from Imagine Design Create and are super cute, perfect for this project!

I had a lot of fun making this one, I just hand stitched the ribbon to the card and used foam pads to adhere the face to the ribbon mane.

Thanks for looking,

More caravan fun....

Hello ribbon fans
Ali here today sharing one of my kits.

I love working with felt, our kits all use wool felt, so really lovely to handle.
This is one of our caravan charm keying kits.

We had a delivery of new assorted buttons and as I opened up the bag, I saw these caravan wheels!
That was it, I started playing with felt, ribbons and buttons and our Caravan kit was born.

The little towbar is made using our Exclusive sewing ribbon.
Purple and red colours - Sew very happy
Blue and pink colours - Sew a little happiness

The kits come with a silver coloured keyring, so use them as bag charms or your caravan keys.
Find them here

Hope you all have a great weekend, have fun

Gift Wrapping with a Sparkly Twist!

Hi there, Laura here again.

I love wrapping presents more than I love unwrapping them.  I had this crazy idea to make a sequin shaker pocket window in some wrapping.  I measured out my paper and picked a spot that would give a tantalising glimpse but not give anything away... I moved over to my craft desk and carefully cut the dinosaur out with a craft knife.

I recycled a piece of craft packaging filling it with a spoonful of star sequins and sealing the opening with double-sided tape.  I ran some glue around the edge of the cut out dinosaur on the inside on the paper and attached the pocket of sequins.

Then I wrapped the present and finished it off with two contrasting ribbons.  You can find the range of satin ribbons here and the birthday ribbons here.

Thanks for looking!

Tying the knot #2

So there's a second couple among our friends
getting married tomorrow and we made them
also an easel card but in different colours.
Papers and also from Basic Grey.

I made the card above and Amanda the card below.
We both used the velvet bling ribbon in pink. I used
the Wedding Owl white ribbon while Amanda
preferred the Congratulation ribbon in pink.

We hope bride and groom will be
happy with their cards!

vintage lace

Vintage Lace

Hi everyone. Louise here and it's so great tp be back with a new project.

I got the most gorgeous lace bundle this month from Crafty Ribbons and wanted to pair them with some of the lovely ribbons.

I've been working on some masculine projects lately and with Father's day coming soon, decided to give another project a go.

I have also been trying to use my older personal stash and remembered this beautiful box I had so decided to alter it.

I cut up strips to fill the middle panel of various ribbons and laces. Links will be added at the end of this post.

I glued these on using Prima Marketing 3d gloss gel and carefully dried with a heat tool. I then used various ink sprays from Lindy's Stamp Gang and Kaisercraft to colour the materials

I then prepared cuts of papers and backed them with folded card to give height and added using the same gel

I added a photo and finished with some embellishments, sticker, waxes on the metal parts and some glitter paste

The background is made with distress oxide inks and a chicken wire stencil.
At the bottom of the card you can see the Summer Festival - Chicken Ribbon.
Some sequins to finish the card.
At the inside of the card I stamped some funny chickens and I used the pink Happy Birthday Ribbon - Garden Rose.
