Robin in the Woods

Morning, Ali here today to share one of my kits.

This is my Robin in the Woods kit.

Made using wool felt and lots of love.

I have used our Exclusive ribbon for the sentiment,

I just wanted the words "with love x" to poke out from behind the Silver Birch tree.

The kit comes with re-usable templates so they can be used time and time again.

No place like gnome !!

A bit of fun from me today guys with this fun gnome and house !!

She's made using a dolly peg and her house is a Pringles tin. The roof lifts off so I can store bits and bobs inside.  I've embroidered with some of the fab silk ribbons and used some of the new crochet edge bias binding !!

I got a bit carried away with all the embroidery, French knots in silk ribbon make lovely flowers and gives some added texture as well.

Planner Bookmark

Hi folks, Laura here today sharing my latest planner accessory.

I've taken a couple of big buttons, 3 inches of elastic and some of my favourite ribbon; grosgrain Swiss dots.  I chose the ribbon and buttons to match the front of my Pirongs planner.

I attached the stripey button to one end of the ribbon with a few stitches of blingy old thread.  On the other end of the ribbon, I attached the spotty button and the loop of elastic.  Then simply wrap the ribbon around the planner and hook the stretchy loop over the stripey button.  I also added a length of the same ribbon to the spiral binding using a larks head knot to use as a bookmark.

Small sized cards

Hi everybody!

Hope you're having a great summer! This time

I made a couple of small "good-to-have-cards".

This green and yellow criss-cross card features

a matching green grosgrain ribbon found HERE. 

The second card is a small sized easel card

with a bling velvet ribbon in strong pink.

Floral Card

Hello everyone it's Louise here back with another project for you.

Today I have something very different for me as this is not my usual style. Usually I like to work in much bolder styles, but a friend commissioned a card from me and wanted a vintage style for an important birthday.

I began by preparing a card bank from a heavy stock kraft sheet. I then matted this with some different types of paper

Next I prepared to more pieces of paper by edging them with some of the pretty laces available from Crafty Ribbons (Links included below)

These were then added to the card

To finish, the card was embellished with flowers, wooden decorations, gems, stickers and a sentiment

I think the overall effect is very pretty and a lovely floral, vintage tribute for a very special occasion. The lady in question is 100 so I thought this style would work well.

Seaside Mixed Media Mini Pallet

Sarah here with a mixed media project using the Fresh Stripe and Ric Ric ribbons.

I painted a mini wooden pallet from a mixed media kit with gesso and added texture with sand paste and art stones. 

Once dry I added paint and inks to colour the background. 

Using 3D gel medium I attached the pieces of net to the pallet, the photo was layered with papers cheese cloth and hessian to add lots of texture.

 Shells, flowers and sequins added to the nautical theme and some Ric Rac added more texture the sandy background.

I added a sweet quote on a chipboard heart sticker and added some Fresh Stripe ribbon for an added touch of cuteness!!

More wider matching Fresh Stripe ribbon turned my pallet into a little piece of wall art.
